Your Itinerary

You begin your day by travelling through the sheep country of the basalt plains, and dairy countryside of Camperdown, before entering the fishing town of Port Campbell on the Great Ocean Road, where you have morning tea overlooking the stunning bay.

We begin our journey along the Great Ocean Road, the first part is called the Shipwreck Coast, where we stop at London Bridge, Loch Ard Gorge, the world famous 12 Apostles, Maybe a helicopter flight over the 12 Apostles (own expense).

Next you travel up into the Otway Ranges, through the cool temperate rainforest of tall mountain ash and blackwood trees, with an understorey of tree ferns, this is known as the Green Coast section of the Great Ocean Road. Here you go to the Otway Fly, the worlds highest tree top walk, after which we travel to Triplet Falls, the most picturesque waterfalls in the Otway's. We drive along 4WD tracks through the Great Otway National Park, searching for black wallabies before getting back onto the Great Ocean Road.

We take you to the Cape Otway lighthouse, where you can get one of the best views of the coast, and learn of the many ships that have met their fate on the cliff lined shores. You also get to walk along a track with your Ecoguide, to see koala’s in their natural habitat.

From the town of Apollo Bay, we drive along the Surf Coast section of the Great Ocean Road, hugging the cliffs and beaches as you stop at lookouts and see stunning coastal scenery. You pass through seaside towns of Wye River, Lorne, Anglesea and Torquay.

Returning to Ballarat via the Midland Highway from Geelong on Corio Bay where you have a scenic drive of the City, which concludes one fantastic day.
